These are truly first class, soft and tasty prunes, and it's nice as you eat them to think of sunny France, where they originate. I almost docked a star because they are no more "Jumbo" than my other favourite prune, Whitworth's Chilean Orchard Prunes - which I've always thought of as very tasty but rather small. But they're too nice to give less than 5*.What separates these (and the Whitworth's) from some others is that they have no sense at all of any "burnt" taste. They taste entirely natural, not quite of fresh plums of course, but the plum flavour is there - altogether very special and a healthy treat. If you need prunes to help with digestive sluggishness, these work really well - gently but effectively - especially when soaked in Sunsweet prune juice (cheapest by far is Morrison's at under £2.00 / litre). Just warm for 20 seconds in the microwave each morning - mmmm!
