I've been stocking Wise buckets for a while now and I'm pleased with what they are. Compared to other brands, I think Wise is at the top. You have to keep in mind this isn't meant for everyday meals, It's emergency food for crisis situations. Overall their good meals, they taste reasonably good, they'll get you by in an emergency, and each bucket comes with an abundant amount of food. As with all emergency food stores, their overpriced, but then again, what price can you put on being prepared. Better to have something than nothing at all.I used to use a different company's products when I was younger and backpacking a lot. Now I have Wise Company's items to use for prepping instead of hiking in my older age. They have a 25-year shelf life, so I have no qualms about putting them away for any emergency use necessary in the future. I taste-tested the first things I bought a while ago (from their 1 month box), and there was no comparison - much better than the other products that I've used. I wouldn't necessarily want to entertain guests with them :-), but they are definitely good, easy to prepare emergency vittles to have handy. They actually taste good and the fruit in this bucket is no exception. The industry has really improved the freeze-drying process and I'm amazed at the quality of the food once it is rehydrated. These types of products will serve us well if they are needed in an emergency. But, the extremely high cost of just about all of them keeps them from getting five stars. If they are ever needed, the cost will not have mattered, but it matters now when trying to stock up.These are so interesting. I know that this is for emergences, however when I am in a hurry and don't want to plan a meal or snacks I grab one of these. Easy to use, no planning. Tastes great and the family loves it.
